Trying times

i was laid off from my job. In the MIDDLE of a pandemic. My first reaction was anger of course. I’ve been with this company for a whole year. I was doing well. Training other employees. Moving up the ladder. and then BOOM! I was dropped. No questions asked. No answers given.

of course it’s human nature to respond with you flesh. I was in the process of getting a new car. just getting in the groove of being on my own without struggling. but then I keep remembering, I asked God for this. So I have to trust Him. I’d literally just posted on Facebook two days prior, “Don’t curse the blessings of the Lord by speaking ill about the will YOU wanted HIM to have for your life”

so here’s to God answering my prayer of taking me out of work to focus on finishing my degree and being a full time entrepreneur. im BEYOND nervous but I trust that God won’t let me fall while I’m stepping out the boat.

we’ll see where this goes. I’m anxious to see the doors that will open moving forward. He’s pretty much already proven Himself today. I booked 3 photoshoots today. Who knew today would be the day. Lol
