Into the Unknown

Recently, I’ve had a thing for watching Frozen II. Idk why this movie blesses me. Disney movies are full blown sermons.
Every time I hear the song “Into the Unknown”, I cry. Like BOOHOO crying. I think this song resonates with me more because I really think it’s more so about hearing the voice of God and being afraid of what comes next if you decide to take heed to #theTap.
Elsa says “there‘s a thousand reason I should go about my day and ignore your secret whispers that I wish would go away”. I can relate. Lol sometimes I get annoyed or a little perplexed when I keep hearing the still small voice of God telling me to do something. Most times I’ll say it’s not my responsibility to do what He wants me to do, or I’ll say I don’t care and try to ignore it. But then I’m constantly convicted. *sigh*
The Bible says “the day you hear my voice, harden not your heart,” I read somewhere that when we choose to follow God’s call with a trust in God that exceeds our trust in ordinary human beings, we choose life.
Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake? Or are you someone out there who's a little bit like me? Who knows deep down I'm not where I'm meant to be? Every day's a little harder as I feel my power grow..don’t you know there's part of me that longs to go into the unknown?
Sister Elsa was so afraid. She knew what she should do but her fear rested in not knowing what would come of her obedience.
If you resonate with Elsa, like I do, allow me to encourage you.
Today, yes TODAY, we make the decision to step into the unknown will of God.
We will not restrict our thinking. We will not limit the things that God can and will do. We will have confidence in ourselves and in God. We set our hope on things above. We will trust God. We will see impossible things happen because we serve a very POSSIBLE God. We will cancel every negative thought that would come to cloud our judgement. We will renew our minds and put on the mind of Christ. We will fulfill our purpose and we will do the things that God has called us to do.
It will be scary at times but we will not fear because the Lord will be with us. He will strengthen us and He will uphold us.
May the grace of God, the peace of God, and the presence of God be with us now, and forever. Amen
II Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Cheers to stepping into the unknown.
You got this.
